CORGS is proud to welcome some special guests to this year’s show:

John Lester:

 In 2008 John decided to start a YouTube gaming channel called Gamester81, where he reviews rare and retro video game systems and games.  He was one of the earlier gaming channels on YouTube, and since its inception, his show has been viewed over 19 million times. He is also one of the hosts of the All Gen Gamers podcast, which is a popular gaming podcast for people and video games of all generations, as well as a host of the ColecoVisions Podcast where they talk about everything Coleco.

 In early 2013, John started producing video games. His first game, ‘Gamester81: The Video Game’, came out for the ColecoVision (his favorite console), and in early 2014 John joined the team at CollectorVision Games as Co-Owner and Head of Marketing. CollectorVision Games ( is a unique indie game company that produces new games for classic consoles including the Atari 2600, ColecoVision, Intellivision, NES, Super Nintendo, Genesis, and Game Boy Advance. Later this year they are set to release their first game on modern platforms called Sydney Hunter and the Curse of the Mayan, set to release this summer on Steam, Xbox One, PS4, Vita, and the Nintendo Switch. In 2015 John co-founded the Game On Expo event in his home town of Phoenix, Arizona. The Game On Expo now going on its fourth year has grown to attract over 7,000 attendees throughout the three day event, and has grown to be one of the largest gaming events of its kind in the country.



Brett Weiss:

A gamer since 1975 and a professional writer since 1997, Brett Weiss is the author of more than 1,500 published articles. His work has appeared in numerous publications, including Game Informer, Old School Gamer, Gameroom Magazine, Classic Gamer Magazine, RETRO Magazine, the Pingame Journal, Video Game Collector, Video Game Trader, Fangoria, Filmfax, The Fort Worth Star-Telegram, The Miami Herald, The Sacramento Bee, and The Charlotte Observer, among many others.

His annual spring, fall, summer, and holiday video game gift guides are enjoyed by hundreds of thousands of readers, and he has a national column in AntiqueWeek called ‘The Pop Culture Collectiv’. Weiss is the author of nine books, including the ‘Classic Home Video Games Series’, ‘The 100 Greatest Console Video Games: 1977-1987’, and ‘The Super NES Omnibus’. Weiss contributed more than 50 write-ups to Pat "The NES Punk" Contri's Ultimate NES book. For more info, check out:
